Exams.

I strongly believe that one of the better ways to test someone's character is to see their approach towards exams and not their marks.

Exam scores may not shape your future, but your approach towards exams will definitely shape your character.

In a few days, I will appear for my CA Final exams, knowing that I'm going to witness the first academic failure at the most important juncture of my student life. Something my family, friends, acquantances think is impossible. Imagine the pressure. But I am really excited, because it's been a while since I last had a first. Plus, I'm happy I didn't shy away due to the fear of facing these people when the results are out. That matters to me more, since I'd once written- 'The fear of failure is the first step towards it.' 

For all those who are appearing for this or similar examinations and are in similar or related situations, my only advise would be- The real test is in emerging stronger and facing your fears, failures or handling success (Yes, handling success is equally or even more important).

'Mark my word, ten years down the line, there'll be no word of your mark.'
